TWV/STS Summer Bike Trip - Exploring the Foothills

Two Wheel View, in conjunction with Strathcona Tweedsmuir School (STS) Summer Camps, will be running a 5 day cycle touring trip for youth ages 14-17.  The trip will take place August 16th-20th.  We will meet August 16th at STS and spend a day learning basic mechanics, ride skills, and how to pack a touring bike. August 17th we will set off on a 4 day, self-supported tour of the local Foothills, highlighting Bluerock Wildland Provincial Park and the surrounding rural communities.  Students will have the opportunity to cook, clean, maintain their bikes, and sleep under the stars in this empowering, local experience.
